Effects of Rapid Detection of Bloodstream Infections on Length of Hospitalization and Hospital Charges

Abstract: Current automated continuous-monitoring blood culture systems afford more rapid detection of bacteremia and fungemia than is possible with non-instrument-based manual methods.
