Wet-mix shotcrete has lower water content even though looking wet which is generally less than 8% of total content. The inner surface of pipes will absorb water from fresh concrete to wet itself if concrete pump primers is not pumped early; meanwhile, the saturated concrete is transformed into the unsaturated concrete, and pipe blockage often occurs. In order to minimize the loss of water and wet pipes, a new type of pump primers was developed to precreate the lubricating layer that is one of the most dominant factors in determining the pumping capability, which would provide a cost-effective replacement for premium priced cement-based primers. Experiments were conducted to measure the viscosity, stability, and strength of mix solution during development stage. The optimal formula was obtained by orthogonal matching tests with 0.5% sodium stearate, 0.75% xanthan gum, 0.3% polyacrylamide, and 0.4% blender (mass ratio related to mix water). The pressure drop reduction of new primers was larger than that of common primers.

Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) fiber from waste plastic bottles is an environmentally friendly fiber that can improve the mechanical properties of wet-mix shotcrete. The main objective of this paper is to investigate the effects of PET fiber parameters on pumpability, shootability, and mechanical properties of wet-mix shotcrete. For this purpose, the orthogonal test based on three factors and three levels was conducted. The width, length, and content of PET fiber were selected as the experimental variables. The tests of wet-mix shotcrete reinforced by PET fibers were carried out, along with properties tests such as slump, pressure drop, build-up thickness, compressive strength, and splitting strength. The results showed the change trend of shotcrete performances with increasing PET fiber parameters (width, length, and content). According to the orthogonal test, PET fiber parameters were determined (1 mm width, 20 mm length, and 5 kg/m3 content). Furthermore, relationships between slump and pumpability and shootability were explored, as well as the relationships between pumpability, shootability, and mechanical properties. It was found that pressure drop and compressive strength had the strongest negative linear relationship among all fitting relationships. We hoped that this study could contribute the useful information for the application of wet-mix shotcrete mixed with PET fibers.

Projektuojant betonines ir gelžbetonines konstrukcijas su dideliu atviru paviršiumi dėl pasireiškiančių kietėjančio betono mišinio traukumo deformacijų, kurios dažniausiai sukelia konstrukcijų supleišėjimą, konstrukcijose ribojamas atstumas tarp išdėstomų deformacinių siūlių. Taip pat dėl šioms konstrukcijoms naudojamų specialių betonavimo technologijų betono mišiniams keliami papildomi reologinių charakteristikų reikalavimai (ribinių šlyties įtempių, plastinės klampos ir tiksotropiškumo). Viena iš galimybių projektuojant betono mišinius, tinkančius tokioms technologijoms, ir siekiant konstrukcijose išvengti plyšių bei padidinti atstumus tarp deformacinių siūlių-įvertinti plačiai naudojamų skirtingų cheminių įmaišų ir mineralinių priedų poveikius cementinių mišinių technologinėms savybėms ir džiūstamojo traukumo deformacijoms skirtingomis technologinėmis sąlygomis. Disertaciją sudaro įvadas, trys skyriai, bendrosios išvados, naudotos literatūros sąrašas ir autoriaus mokslinių publikacijų disertacijos tema sąrašas. Įvadiniame skyriuje formuluojama problema, darbo aktualumas, darbo tikslas ir uždaviniai, aprašomas tyrimų objektas, tyrimų metodika, darbo mokslinis naujumas, darbo rezultatų praktinė reikšmė, ginamieji teiginiai. Įvado pabaigoje pateikiamos disertacijos tema autoriaus paskelbtos publikacijos ir pranešimai konferencijose bei disertacijos struktūra. Pirmajame skyriuje pateikta literatūros analizė. Analizuojamos cementinių mišinių reologinės savybės, aptarti ir aprašyti taikomi metodai mišinių tiksotropiškumui įvertinti. Išanalizuotas skirtingų veiksnių poveikis tiek mišinių reologinėms savybėms, tiek kietėjančių mišinių džiūstamajam traukumui. Skyriaus pabaigoje formuluojamos išvados ir tikslinami disertacijos uždaviniai. Antrajame skyriuje aprašytos tyrimams naudotos medžiagos ir jų pagrindinės savybės bei charakteristikos, pateikta mišinių sudėtis, aprašytas bandinių formavimas, išanalizuoti tyrimų metodai ir laboratorinė įranga. Trečiajame skyriuje pateikiami cementinių tešlų reologinių savybių ir tiksotropiškumo bei kietėjančių cementinių mišinių džiūstamojo traukumo tyrimai ir jų analizės. Analizuojamas ir aprašomas cheminių įmaišų ir mineralinių priedų poveikis projektinių technologinių savybių mišinių traukumui. Disertacijos tema paskelbti 6 moksliniai straipsniai ir perskaityti 5 pranešimai Lietuvos bei kitų šalių konferencijose.
