Effective‐Medium Models of Inner‐Core Anisotropy

Abstract: Body‐wave and normal‐mode observations of Earth's inner core show cylindrical anisotropy consistent with an alignment of hexagonal close‐packed iron (hcp‐Fe) crystals along the rotation axis.
