Abstract: Background: Post-transplant immune reconstitution has a significantly effect on "hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT)" outcomes. Delay in immune reconstitution increases the risk of infections and disease relapse after transplantation. Recovery of T cells is mainly thymus-dependent.
