Abstract: Interaction of the local anesthetic dibucaine with small unilamellar vesicles of dimyristoylphosphatidylcholine (DMPC) and dioleoylphosphatidylcholine (DOPC) containing different mole percents of monosialoganglioside (GM1) has been studied by fluorescence spectroscopy.
