Effect of Rooting Promoter Treatments on Cutting and Growth of Sedum takesimense

Abstract: The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of rooting promoters on the rooting and growth of Sedum takesimense cuttage. Results of underground part growth after treatment with rooting promoters showed that the numbers of roots after treatment with 250 mg•L -1 indole-3-butyric acid (IBA), 500 mg•L -1 IBA, and 500 mg•L -1 NAA were 8 to 9, and treatments with 500 mg•L -1 IBA and 500 mg•L -1 α-naphthaleneacetic acid (NAA) resulted in the longest root lengths of 5.3 and 5.4 cm, respectively.
