“…It is well-known that the MAPK signaling pathway plays a major role in regulating cell survival, proliferation, and apoptosis and is an important sensor of cellular stress downstream of NF-κB in many tumorigenic functions. To further investigate the effect of the Pt(IV) complex 9 on the MAPK/NF-κB signaling pathway, the relative proteins including p38, p-p38, ERK, p-ERK, p-NF-κB (p65), p-IKKβ, and p-IκBα were evaluated by Western blotting assays. The results in Figure A indicate that complex 9 and the combination of cisplatin and 4 showed greater potential to elevate the expression levels of p-p38 and reduce the expression of p-ERK compared to other treatment groups, while the expression of p38 and ERK changed only slightly.…”

“…The RAS/MEK pathways exhibit a noteworthy association with the migratory and invasive behavior of PANC-1 cells at the molecular level ( Buscail et al, 2020 ). The study reports that the combination of ginsenoside and cisplatin effectively inhibited cell migration in HeLa cells by suppressing the RAS/MEK/ERK pathways ( Li et al, 2023 ). Anthocyanins derived from black rice were found to inhibit cell migration and invasion by suppressing MEK in various other cell lines ( Chen et al, 2015 ).…”
