Effect of fibrinogen on reversal of dilutional coagulopathy: a porcine model

Abstract: Replacing 65% of the estimated blood volume with gelatin in swine resulted in dilutional coagulopathy; subsequent fibrinogen administration improved clot formation and reduced blood loss significantly.
