Efeito do tempo e da temperatura de incubação de juvenis do segundo estádio (J2) no teor de lipídio corporal e no parasitismo de Meloidogyne javanica em soja

RESUMOA temperatura ambiente e o teor de lipídio no corpo do juvenil do segundo estádio (J2) de Meloidogyne sp. afetam seu parasitismo no hospedeiro. Assim, neste trabalho estudou-se a relação do teor de lipídio corporal e da temperatura com o período de incubação do J2 de Meloidogyne javanica em água e o parasitismo em soja. O teor de lipídio no J2 diminuiu significativamente em cada período de incubação no intervalo de 2 a 12 dias. Entretanto, a patogenicidade dos J2 foi mantida até 12 dias de incubação, porém com redução de 67,36%, 82,75% e 86,09% no número de J2 penetrados, fêmeas e massa de ovos, respectivamente. Em outro ensaio, os J2 foram incubados em água com temperaturas fixas de 5 ºC, 10 ºC e 28 ºC, e por 10 horas em temperaturas variadas de 5 ºC ou 10 ºC complementadas com 14 h a 28 ºC. A patogenicidade em soja foi realizada a cada 5 dias de incubação durante 20 dias. O aumento do período de incubação dos J2 de M. javanica nas temperaturas contínuas de 5 e 28 ºC reduziram a penetração, número de fêmeas, massas de ovos, total de ovos e ovos por grama de raiz. A incubação contínua dos J2 a 10 o C por qualquer período não afetou a penetração e proporcionou pequena redução no número de fêmeas e na reprodução ao longo dos 20 dias de incubação. Quando os J2 foram expostos a 28 ºC por 14 h as variáveis avaliadas comportaram-se semelhantemente à exposição contínua de 24 h a 28ºC.Palavras-chave adicionais: nematóide de galhas, energia corporal, patogenicidade, Glycine max. ABSTRACT Effect of timing and temperature of incubation of second stage juveniles (J2) on body lipid content and parasitism of Meloidogyne javanica in soybean.The environmental temperature and the body lipid content of second stage juveniles (J2) of Meloidogyne javanica affect its parasitism on the host. So, in this work, it was studied the relationship of body lipid content and temperature with incubation period in water of J2 of M. javanica from 2 to 12 days, and the parasitism in soybean. The body lipid content of J2 decreased significantly from 2 to 12 days of incubation. However, the pathogenicity of J2 was kept until 12 days of incubation, with reduction of 67,36%, 82,75% and 86,09% on the number of penetrated J2, females and eggs mass, respectively. In another assay, J2 were incubated in water for 20 days at constant temperatures of 5 o C, 10 o C and 28 o C, and at varied temperatures of 10 h at 5 o C or 10 o C and complemented with 14 h at 28 o C. Every 5 day incubation, J2 pathogenicity was evaluated by inoculating them in soybean. Increase on incubation period of J2 of M. javanica at continued temperatures of 5 and 28 o C reduced penetration, numbers of females, egg mass, total of eggs and eggs per gram of root. A redução da infectividade dos juvenis pode, em parte, ser atribuída ao gasto das reservas lipídicas, resultante da sua contínua movimentação em água (CAMPOS; CAMPOS; POZZA, 2006), no entanto, a infectividade do J2 pode ser também alterada por ação de extratos de alguns vegetais. Testes de infectividade devem ser sempre realizados para complementar esse tipo de informação.…”
