Efeito Antialimentar De Extratos Hidroalcoólicos De Melia Azedarach (Meliaceae) Sobre Helicoverpa Armigera (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae)

Show more

“…It is known that high expression or genetic mutations involving the production of these enzymes affect insect resistance to insecticides 16 . In addition to enzyme inhibition, other effects of botanical insecticides on insects include morphological deformities on S. litura 8 , antinutrient action on B. longissima 9 , mortality of Helicoverpa armigera , S. litura , B. longissima and Sitophilus zeamais 6 , 8 , 9 , 17 , repellence against S. zeamais and H. armigera 17 , 18 , inhibition of growth on H. armigera 6 , ovicide against Rhodnius prolixus 19 , and delayed development of S. litura and B. longissima 8 , 9 .…”

“…Among the factors related to the control of this insect-plague, to reduce the damage caused in crops, several insecticides are used. By misusing these chemicals, the imbalance in the environment is becoming increasingly common and resulting in higher production costs (ANDRADE et al, 2016).…”
