Echographie bei orbitalem Rhabdomyosarkom im Kindesalter

Abstract

We report on 4 children suffering from orbital rhabdomyosarcoma. The ultra-sonographical findings in both A and B mode are: irregular structure, poorly outlined borders, very low reflectivity, weak sound attenuation, hard consistency and little mobility of the tumor. There was no correlation between the ultrasonographical findings and the histological type of rhabdomyosarcoma.
