Abstract: Specialized palliative care (SPC) is a multidisciplinary need-based approach from the time a life-threatening disease is diagnosed. Patients with multiple myeloma (MM) will, at the time of diagnosis, often present with symptoms and needs that require a multidisciplinary approach.
