Redistribution of IMP on late images, which is suggestive of viability of the brain (Defer 1987), was frequently seen in the improved cases. Mathew et al (1975) also reported that the higher the preoperative mean CBF, despite some reduction as compared to normal individuals, the better the clinical recovery after shunting.…”
