E-Healthcare Web Service Broker Infrastructure in Cloud Environment

A new approach to successfully offering IT services is provided by cloud computing. The body of research implies that cloud technology can raise the quality of services across a range of sectors, especially healthcare. Before being widely used, cloud computing should indeed be thoroughly assessed, like any other technical advance. Many researchers and clinicians are interested in the availability of large, quickly available, and reconfigurable resources including virtual systems, platforms, and applications with minimal service costs. This study gives a thorough analysis of academic literature on cloud computing in the healthcare industry. To propose a categorization methodology with five different categories — Cloud-based framework development in healthcare, virtual machine placement in healthcare, cloud-based Green healthcare, security in cloud-based healthcare, and broker development in healthcare. The authors reviewed 227 articles before narrowing them down to 40. At the end some future research prospects have been highlighted.

İnternet ve teknolojinin gün geçtikçe gelişmesi günlük hayatta olduğu gibi özel ve kamu sektörünü de etkilemiştir. Özellikle elektronik dönüşüm neticesinde kurum, kuruluş ve vatandaşlar işlemlerini e-devlet ve e-belediye gibi elektronik ortamlardan gerçekleştirmektedir. Bu dönüşümlerden birisi de Çalışma ve Sosyal Güvenlik bakanlığının geliştirdiği iş sağlığı ve güvenliği bilgi yönetimi sistemidir (İBYS). Kurum ve kuruluşlar gerçekleştirilen her iş sağlığı ve güvenliği işlemini İBY sistemine göndermekle yükümlüdürler. Gönderme işlemi de bakanlıkça yetkilendirilmiş entegratör firmaların geliştireceği uygulamalar üzerinden yapılmalıdır. Bu uygulamaların birden fazla kaynaktan aynı anda gelen verileri yönetebilmesi ve kayıpsız şekilde IBYS sunucusuna aktarması gerekir. Çalışmamızda bu ihtiyacın giderilebilmesi için E-Sağlık ismi verilen web uygulaması geliştirilmiştir. Geliştirilen uygulama birçok kaynaktan aynı anda gelen verileri verimli şekilde yöneterek IBYS işlemini gerçekleştirmektedir. Bununla beraber geliştirilen web uygulaması ölçeklendirilebilir olduğu için artan isteklere rahatlıkla cevap verecek şekilde tasarlanmıştır.

A Mobile Cloud Computing Framework Integrating Multilevel Encoding for Performance Monitoring in Telerehabilitation

Recent years have witnessed a surge in telerehabilitation and remote healthcare systems blessed by the emerging low-cost wearable devices to monitor biological and biokinematic aspects of human beings. Although such telerehabilitation systems utilise cloud computing features and provide automatic biofeedback and performance evaluation, there are demands for overall optimisation to enable these systems to operate with low battery consumption and low computational power and even with weak or no network connections. This paper proposes a novel multilevel data encoding scheme satisfying these requirements in mobile cloud computing applications, particularly in the field of telerehabilitation. We introduce architecture for telerehabilitation platform utilising the proposed encoding scheme integrated with various types of sensors. The platform is usable not only for patients to experience telerehabilitation services but also for therapists to acquire essential support from analysis oriented decision support system (AODSS) for more thorough analysis and making further decisions on treatment.
