Nevertheless, Cordes & Hogan (1942) and Gilbert & Guin (1958) describe gingival hyperplasia as a characteristic feature of gargoylism and in at least two other reports gross gingival hyperplasia is apparent in the illustrations though it is not mentioned.…”
