Abstract:Pheochromocytoma (Pheo) is a neuroendocrine tumor that develops from chromaffin cells of the adrenal medulla, and is responsible of an excess of catecholamines secretion leading to severe clinical symptoms such as hypertension, elevated stroke risk and various cardiovascular complications.
