Down-regulation of NAMPT expression by miR-154 reduces the viability of breast cancer cells and increases their susceptibility to doxorubicin

Abstract: Background Nicotinamide phosphoribosyltransferase (NAMPT) acts as an important enzyme in the salvage pathway of nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD) biosynthesis.
