Diversity and distribution of orchid bees (Hymenoptera: Apidae, Euglossini) in Belize

Abstract: Background Orchid bees are abundant and widespread in the Neotropics, where males are important pollinators of orchids they visit to collect fragrant chemicals later used to court females.
