Distinct variation in vector competence among nine field populations of Aedes aegypti from a Brazilian dengue-endemic risk city

Abstract: BackgroundIn Brazil, dengue epidemics erupt sporadically throughout the country and it is unclear if outbreaks may initiate a sustainable transmission cycle.
