Diindolylmethane, 5. Mitt. Chlorwasserstoffkatalysierte Kondensation von Yohimbin mit 4‐Dimethylaminobenzaldehyd — Untersuchungen zur Yohimbin‐Farbreaktion
Abstract:Yohimbine (1) reacts with 4-dimethylaminobenzaldehyde (2) in the presence of hydrogenchlondelmethanol to give the isomeric diindolymethanes 4 via the methylbenzhydryl ethers 3 which can be isolated. The structures of compounds 3 and 4 were determined by 'H-NMRspectroscopy. In the acidcatalysed color reaction of 1 with 2 the diindolylmethane 4 might be an intermediate.
