Aviation is one of the most significant growth drivers not only for the transportation infrastructure, but also for country’s economy as it contributes to both industrial and social progress of society. The paper focuses on Sheremetyevo International Airport, one of the largest Russian airports and analyzes it in terms of short-term and long-term perspectives. Using real statistical data, the article presents the models for forecasting essential performance indicators of airports, namely, passenger traffic and revenue. By comparing quality characteristics, most suitable models were selected and checked for adequacy. Forecasts of the probable changes in the values of the performance indicators were made under the assumption of maintaining the previously formed development trend.

The research findings concerning legal regulation of entrepreneurship in the agro-industrial complex during emergencies (covid-19 pandemic) have been presented. After analyzing a number of reference sources it has been concluded, that there is a lack of scientific and methodological solutions for the legal support of the agro-industrial complex functioning and development. The general assessment of the situation in the agro-industrial complex in terms of emerging stress –factors has been made. The focus on emergency regulation has been demonstrated in the sphere of administrative legislature on agribusiness, as well as its interconnection with the key acts of the national strategic planning. (National Security Strategy of the Russian Federation and the Doctrine of Food Security of the Russian Federation). The conclusions have been made about the necessity to improve the legislature in the sphere under study, by means of adopting new regulations and amending the current ones in order to form the legal foundation and universal mechanisms of extraordinary regulation as applied to agribusiness.

The economic space quality is an important factor for the sustainable and stable development of regions. The period of stagnation of the Russian economy has had a negative impact on the dynamics of the social and economic development of the Northwest Federal District regions. The significant decline in GRP growth and fixed investment was accompanied by a significant increase in interregional differentiation, which further increased the heterogeneity of economic space. A sharp decline in the indices of «weak» regions has led to an increase in the tendency of «shrinking» of the population to sufficiently well-off regions, which creates a multiplicative effect of the increase of differentiation of the level of social and economic development of the RF subjects and further deterioration of the economic space quality. «New» factors of regional development -innovations and digitalization, do not yet have a significant impact on regional development due to their weakness. The quality of economic space is also affected by a significant reduction in interregional interaction in a stagnant economy.
