“…The main phenolic acids found in alliums include p-Coumaric acid, ferulic acid, sinapic acid, gallic acid, and protocatechuic acid [38]. However, very few studies used allium flavonoids as feed additives to promote growth, immune, and antioxidant response for animals [39,40].…”

“…Organisms usually have a sophisticated antioxidant defence system to remove excessive free radicals and protect fine cells from oxygen damage. Antioxidant enzymes generally have SOD, CAT, T‐AOC, ASA and MDA, which play a role mainly by blocking and scavenging free radicals (Feng et al., 2016; Li, Zhu, et al, 2019). In this study, compared with the control, SOD and T‐AOC activities were significantly increased in gill, hepatopancreas, gut, kidney and serum of B12 group, CAT activity was significantly increased in gill, hepatopancreas, gut and kidney, and ASA level was significantly increased in gill and serum, while MDA was attenuated.…”

“…Cell lysates were collected to detect antioxidant parameters. The levels of CAT, GPx, SOD and MDA were measured according to the methods described in our previous study (Li, Zhu, Tian, et al, 2019).…”

“…Due to the large demand in the aquatic product market, C. argus culture is mainly based on high density and intensive aquaculture (Li, Zhu, Tian, Liu, & Wang, 2018). Intensive aquaculture has generated a variety of environmental stressors and increased the susceptibility of this fish to various pathogens (Li, Zhu, Tian, Liu, & Wang, 2019). Therefore, the epidemic of C. argus is frequent (Gou et al, 2018).…”
