As a result, delayed diagnosis and incorrect treatment are common in clinical practice 3 . Once correctly diagnosed, treatment options are limited; Verapamil is the first choice prophylactic treatment, but verapamil is not efficacious in all patients with cluster headache 4–6 ; therefore, there is an unmet need for new diagnostic tools and treatment targets for CH.…”

There is a consensus that child maltreatment is not a private but a societal issue, leading governments to invest more resources in strengthening legislative and supportive frameworks for abused and neglected children [ 3 , 5 , 8 - 10 ]. However, more attention is being paid to retributive justice by enforcing forensic investigations, child abuse offender punishment, or education.…”

“…This makes the correct diagnosis a crucial step towards effective treatment. Worldwide, the diagnosis of cluster headache is often delayed for years [ 115 , 116 ], and even more so in women [ 117 ] and adolescents [ 115 ]. This delay could be more pronounced in countries of the global south, where prevalent health issues like infectious diseases take precedence.…”
