“…There was no association in the observed prevalence and resistance to ceftriaxone and gentamicin because both are administered intramuscularlly and thus restricted to hospital use, confirming the fact that, unregulated usage of a particular antimicrobial agent could lead to antimicrobial resistance in the agent.
