Diabetische Kardiomyopathie

Abstract: Diabetic cardiomyopathy is a myocardial disease caused by diabetes mellitus unrelated to vascular and valvular pathology or systemic arterial hypertension. Clinical and experimental studies have shown that diabetes mellitus causes myocardial hypertrophy, apoptosis and necrosis, and increases interstitial tissue.
