Developmental events in the lung of the Japanese quail (Coturnix coturnix japonica): Morphological, histochemical and electron‐microscopic studies

Abstract: The lung of birds is the most complex and efficient gas exchanger in the air-breathing vertebrates. A total number of 27 normal Japanese quail embryos during the prehatching period were used. The current work aimed to investigate the histomorphological, histochemical and ultrastructural changes of the lung at different stages of development using light and electron microscopy. The results showed that the respiratory primordium was observed on the 2nd embryonic day (ED) as a ventral outpouching of the primitive… Show more

“…Nature offers a range of possible sources and insights toward nanomaterial production. Myconanotechnology is a term used to describe the green synthesis of metallic and non-metallic nanoparticles from a range of organic metabolites present in fungi like yeast, mold, and mushrooms, although macrofungi produce a massive amount of fruitbodies, mycelia, & enzymes, are extremely effective in the mycosynthesis of nanoparticles [4] . Riboflavin is a light-sensitive and water-soluble compound, and its function is a bound coenzyme.…”

“…Nanotechnology allows quick advancements in a variety of science and engineering fields that are critical to civilization. Nanotechnology, as a modern idea is the most widely explored topic in now a day's science that deals with various organic and inorganic compounds-based NPs for various applications [2][3][4]. Inorganic NPs include metallic, semimetallic, and magnetic NPs, whereas, the organic group includes carbon base nanomaterials [5][6][7][8].…”
