Abstract: This research aims to improve students' critical thinking skills through the development of self-discovery and exploration (SDE) teaching materials for low-level taxonomy of organisms. This material is a modified version that combines the concepts of Discovery Learning with the mapping of the Indonesian National Qualification Framework.
