Development of a Novel Platelets Functional Assay Using QCM

Abstract: Thrombocytes and their metabolites are involved in numerous physiological and pathophysiological processes, such as blood coagulation at the site of ruptured endothelium. Normal platelet aggregation can be suppressed via platelet antagonists or non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
