“…The differences between the light oil and the biodegraded ones, and also their fractions, are indicated by the intensity of the bands at 670–900 cm –1 , which is the aromatic region due to the deformation of the C–H bond, pointing to these fractions having condensed or highly substituted aromatic ring systems .
