Abstract: We investigated the capability of a cavity resonator to obtain the two-dimensional mapping of the microwave conductivity. For this purpose, a home-made sample including both of metallic and insulating regions were prepared. Experimental results show that the conductive or insulating region included in the sample can be clearly detected by the change of the resonance frequency.
