This study aims to investigate self-regulation and self-efficacy perceptions of prospective mathematics teachers in terms of different variables. The research is a descriptive correlational survey study. The sample universe of the study is composed of 946 students studying in the Mathematics and Science Education program at the Faculty of Education affiliated to a public university and 731 students were reached in the study. "Self-Regulated Learning Scale", which was developed by Turan (2009) and "Teacher Self-Efficacy Perception Scale", which was developed by Tschannen-Moran and Hoy (2001) and validity and reliability study of which was conducted by Çapa, Çakıroğlu and Sarıkaya (2005) for Turkish, have been used as data collection tools in the research. Frequency, percentage, t-test for independent groups, one-way variance analysis and Pearson correlation analysis have been conducted on the data obtained. According to the results, it is observed that the selfregulation skills of prospective mathematics teachers were high and their self-efficacy perceptions were fairly adequate, and there has been a medium-level positive significant relationship between self-regulation skills and self-efficacy perceptions of prospective mathematics teachers.

Globalisation, urbanisation, human neglect, socio-economic conditions, discontinuity, weather and climate have been identified from literature studies as the root causes hindering the vernacular architecture. The objective of this article is to explore such causes and impacts on vernacular architecture. For this purpose, ‘Kavunji’a village near Kodaikanal, Tamilnadu is identified. Due to the geographical location and the landform, the vernacular architecture in this village is recently undergoing modifications and extensions. To comprehend the salient characteristics of vernacular architecture, six typologies were identified. The thrust of this paper is to explore the reasons that contributed to modifications and additions in dwelling units and effects on the people’s attitude towards the maintenance of the built environment and form at regular intervals is declining rapidly as it requires tremendous efforts, fiscal resources, energy, and time. As a result, people are utilising modern materials to modify and extend the existing dwelling units, completely ignoring the essence of the context. The authors have identified syntactic analysis as a potential tool to comprehend the changes in the spatial relationship. With this as the focus, dwelling units limited to two-storeys with and without modifications were identified for an in-depth study. The semi-public space thinnai at the main entrance from the street is converted into a bathing space. Besides, additions of rooms occur only on the rear side of the dwelling unit. From this study, the authors reinstate that syntactic analysis effectively explores and interprets the efficiency of the spatial layout in dwelling units that have undergone modifications and additions.

This study aims to: (1) develop android game-based learning media “Go Accounting” in trading company accounting learning (2) reveal the feasibility of the develop learning media according to material experts, media experts, teachers, and student. This study is research and development that refers to the ADDIE model. The subjects of the trial are the students of class XI accounting of vocational high school. The data collection is done through interviews and questionnaire. The instruments used are interview guide, expert validation questionnaire, teacher response questionnaire, and student response questionnaire. The feasibility of the develop learning media is analyzed using the quantitative 5 category conversion. The result of this study is Android game-based learning media “Go Accounting”. The development of learning media is feasible according to material experts, media experts, teachers, and students each of whom subsequently gave a score of 4.18, 4.35, 4.70, and 4.22.
