Abstract:Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease (MASLD) is a common complication in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM), potentially progressing to more severe conditions such as metabolic dysfunction-associated steatohepatitis (MASH), liver cirrhosis, and hepatocellular carcinoma.
