Abstract: Films of a dialkoxy poly(p-phenylenevinylene) (PPV) derivative bearing a bridged chain dialkoxy substituent on the aromatic rings (Bridged Dialkoxy PPV: BDA-PPV) were prepared via solvent casting and Langmuir-Blodgett (LB) techniques for applications in gas sensing devices.
