Abstract: Direct intrajejunal levodopa-carbidopa intestinal gel (LCIG) administered through a percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG) with a jejunal extension tube (PEG-J) is an FDA-approved modality for treatment of patients with advanced Parkinson’s disease (PD).
