Abstract: Abstract: To study morphological changes in zooxanthellae in bleached corals, we observed zooxanthellae in colonies of Acropora nasuta that suffered various degrees of bleaching. Colonies were collected from a shallow reef at Bise, Okinawa, from July to September in 2001.
