Abstract: SummaryMethyl 2-cyanoacrylate-2-l4C, -3-*4c and -1CN tagged monomers were im planted subcutaneously in mongrel dogs and their urine assayed for radioactivity. The results show that the urea from the -3-14C was radioactive and radioactive acidic components, as well as neutral moieties, were present. Urea recovered from the urine of animals in which the -2-14C and -14CN methyl 2-cyanoacrylate were implanted was only very slightly radioactive.
