Abstract:The hydrodearylation process has previously demonstrated the ability to upgrade an aromatic reject stream from an aromatic recovery complex containing heavy alkyl-bridged noncondensed multiaromatics to high-value monoaromatics that include a benzene, toluene, and ethylbenzene/xylene (BTEX) yield of ∼6 wt %. Herein, a new alternative refining processing option is presented for the same reject stream that not only improves the quality of the gasoline blending component but also significantly increases the BTEX y… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
