Dampak Perubahan Iklim Terhadap Hasil Tanaman Padi Di Kawasan Danau Singkarak

Abstract: This study aims to: (a) see the results of several genotypes of rice crops grown on paddy fields with drought stress, (b) to obtain the type of paddy rice genotype in drought-affected paddy fields. This research was conducted in Simusan rice field, Rambatan sub-district, Tanah Datar district and Laboratory of Agriculture Faculty, Andalas University, West Sumatra. This research used Randomized Block Design (RBD) method using 7 rice genotypes, 6 rice field genotypes and 1 genotype of upland rice as a comparison.… Show more

“…Activities such as open-pit mining harm the soil's physicochemical composition. Mining activities can cause changes in soil structure due to the excavation of topsoil to reach deeper layers of mining material, causing the change in the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the soil in the mining land, there is soil damage both chemically with the discovery of excessive heavy metals and soil pH that is too low even though plants require optimal nutrients, physically with sandy soil structure conditions and surface temperatures that are too high and biologically with the low presence of soil microbes needed by plants [1].…”
