“…One case in our study showed the presence of foreign body at the site of tattoo which support the hypothesis that foreign material may serve as a nidus for granuloma formation in sarcoidosis. Some studies demonstrated that sarcoidosis can arise in scars, tattoos, surgery or due to long term trauma [ 5 , 7 , 15 , 19 , 20 ].
