“…[45][46][47] The core spectrum of oxygen (O 1s) shows peaks centered at 532.98 eV for C-O and 531.95 eV for CQO as mentioned in the previous reports. 9 The peaks with binding energies 530.99 eV and 529.92 eV were observed for metal-oxygen (i.e., Fe-O, Co-O, Mn-O) as reported earlier, 10 as shown in Fig. 3e.…”

“…8a shows the I-V curves in the range of À5 V to +5 V under light and dark conditions, and it demonstrates the ohmic properties of an MCF-PANI nanohybrid photodetector device. However, the pure PANI I-V curves reveal a non-linear behavior due to their different conducting paths, and photons' heating may present as stated by relation (9) shown in Fig. S3 (ESI †).…”

“…One of the most crucial methods for increasing EQE and producing high-sensitivity photodetection is the photomultiplication (PM) effect. 44 Since the exciton binding energies of organic semiconductor materials are in between 0.1 and 1.4 eV, and are roughly three orders more than those of inorganic semiconductors, impact ionization cannot take place in organic photomultiplication as it can in inorganic photodiodes. Instead, carrier tunneling events facilitated by traps have been used to investigate how organic PM photodetectors operate.…”

“…For designing broadband photodetectors, narrow-bandgap semiconductors with wide spectral absorption are expected. [12][13][14][15][16] However, a narrow bandgap is usually accompanied by a low photovoltage, resulting in limited photo-responsivity and a slow response speed. CuBi 2 O 4 has recently emerged as a promising photo-cathode material for PEC water splitting due to its ideal band gap (1.5-1.8 eV) and suitable conduction band positions for both water oxidation and proton reduction.…”
