Crystallization Behaviors of Poly(ethylene 2,6-naphthalate) in the Presence of Liquid Crystalline Polymer

“…In the high-temperature region, ∆G* is the dominant factor controlling the nucleation rate, whereas ∆G η has the main influence on the nucleation rate in the low temperature because of large supercooling. 39 Our previous work [12][13][14][15][16] indicates that nucleating agents acting as heterogeneous nuclei decrease ∆G* and enhance primary nucleation in the high-temperature region, while nucleating promoters improve molecular motion and decrease ∆G η and, therefore, promote primary nucleation of chains on the surface of nucleating agents and subsequent crystal growth at low temperature.…”
