[243,249,252,253,255,259,271] For instance, 2,2-diphenyl-N-(diethylcarbamothioyl)acetamide, HL 1 , and bis(2,2-diphenyl-N-(diethylcarbamothioyl)acetamido) nickel(II), Ni(L 1 ) 2 , were both characterized by a single-crystal X-ray diffraction study. The ligands coordinate bidentate (O, S chelated) to the metal yielding neutral complexes of the type cis- diphenyl and morpholine-4) and their Ni(II) and Cu(II) complexes have also been synthesized and characterized, and shown to be cis-complexes with slightly distorted square planar coordination of the central nickel by two oxygen and two sulfur atoms.…”
