Crescimento e partição da biomassa de mudas de mulungu sob adubação fosfatada e inoculação micorrízica

Resumo -O objetivo desse trabalho foi avaliar substratos orgânico-minerais na produção de mudas de Erythrina velutina Willd. Foi utilizado o delineamento inteiramente casualizado, com parcelas subdivididas no tempo, com 10 repetições. Utilizaram-se cinco substratos (S), sendo S1 = solo; S2 = solo + esterco bovino curtido (20%); S3 = solo + superfosfato simples (300 g m ); S5 = solo + superfosfato simples + micronutrientes (300 g m -3 , 50 g m -3 ) + esterco bovino curtido. O substrato foi composto de solo e esterco bovino curtido na proporção 4:1, de acordo com cada tratamento. As coletas de mudas foram realizadas em intervalos de 14, 28, 42, 56 e 70 dias após semeadura. As variáveis analisadas foram: comprimento da parte aérea, número de folhas, diâmetro de coleto, área foliar, massa seca de caule, de folhas, da parte aérea, das raízes, total e relação massa seca da parte aérea e das raízes. Houve efeito significativo dos substratos orgânico-minerais para as variáveis analisadas. O substrato composto por solo com adição de superfosfato simples (300 g m ) e 20% de esterco bovino curtido é indicado para produção de mudas de Erythrina velutina. Use of organic-mineral substrates to produce seedlings of Erythrina velutinaAbstract -The aim of this work was to evaluate organic-mineral substrates in the production of Erythrina velutina seedlings. The experiment was conducted in a split-plot completely randomized design, subdivided in time, with 10 replications. Five substrates (S) were used: S1 = soil; S2 = soil + tanned bovine manure (20%); S3 = soil + simple superphosphate (300 g m -3 ); S4 = soil + simple superphosphate + micronutrients (300 g m -3, 50 g m -3 ); S5 = soil + simple superphosphate + micronutrients (300 g m -3 , 50 g m -3 ) + tanned bovine manure. The substrate was composed of soil, and bovine manure tanned in the ratio 4:1, according to each treatment. Five seedlings were collected at intervals of 14, 28, 42, 56 and 70 days after sowing. The analyzed variables were: shoot length, number of leaves, collar diameter, leaf area, stem, leaves, shoots, roots and total dry mass, and shoot and roots dry mass ratio. The analyzed variables showed significant effect with the organic-mineral substrates. The substrate composed of soil with simple superphosphate (300 g m -3 ), micronutrients (50 g m -3) and 20% of tanned bovine manure is indicate to produce Erythrina velutina seedlings.

The analysis of variance is the statistical test most used for comparison of three or more means simultaneously. Its application requires, however, the compliance to some assumptions, with main emphasis on normality of the data and homoscedasticity of variances. When such requirements are not met, one of the alternatives is the data transformation to enable the continuity of the experimental evaluation. With the proposition of the Tukey’s data transformation system, understood as a power transformation system, i.e. the application of nth root on a data set (X⅟n) this statistical procedure has methodologically evolved to ensure such solutions. In the present research we proposed a complement to this system, denominated here as transformation in four steps, with inclusion of two hypothesis tests to evaluate normality and homoscedasticity. This was applied on experimental data to evaluate the amount of radiation available at soil level within stands of Acacia mearnsii De Wild. We have proposed a model for data transformation to simultaneously obtain homoscedasticity and normality. The methodology was appropriate to ensure these two statistical aspects on the experimental data, allowing comparison of eight treatments by conventional analysis of variance. Soils are characterized by high phosphorus (P) immobilization, considering the major limiting factor for agricultural production in Brazil. Phosphate fertilizers complexed with humic acids (HA) have been presented as an alternative to inhibit P immobilization in soils; however, little is known regarding its efficiency or its effect on soil P dynamics when associated with liming. The objective was to investigate labile moderately and non-labile P changes in sandy and clayey soils under application of distinct P sources and liming. Tropical soils were incubated using 200 mg kg −1 of P (simple superphosphate-SSP and SSP + HA), associated or not with calcium oxide. Check-plots were run in both soils without any P addition and/or no liming. After 60, 90, and 180 days of incubation, P contents were fractionated into P inorganic (Pi) and organic (Po), in the following pools: labile (P AER and P BIC), moderately labile (P HCl and P HID-0.1), and non-labile fractions (P HID-0.5 and P residual). There was a P flux between non-labile and labile fractions, controlled by the use of P fertilizer and liming. In sandy soil, the P addition promoted a clear P flux from non-labile to labile fractions; however, in clayey soil, there was a reverse P flux. The lack of P addition promotes a negative balance in soil with a decrease of labile fractions, mainly when associated with liming. Therefore, inputs are necessary to avoid soil P depletion.
