“…The DPPH radical scavenging activities of yuzu varieties ranged from 24.28% to 26.72%, with the lowest value of 24.28% at Namhae variety (Table 3). There is a high correlation between the total phenol content and free radical scavenging activity (Byun et al, 2021). This is consistent with the research results stating that the DPPH radical scavenging activity is an indicator (1) By using Duncan's multiple range test, the mean with the same letter in each column is not significantly different ( p < 0.05).…”

“…Considering several previous reports of potential elastase and tyrosinase inhibitory action of plant extracts [ 8 , 16 , 17 ], it was likely that the extracts possess a high antioxidant potential and tend to have strong elastase and tyrosinase inhibitory action. Thus to verify those relationships in this study, we further performed Pearson’s correlation analysis to investigate the relationship between the inhibitory activities of both enzymes and the level of antioxidant contents as well as antioxidant capacities among the extracts used.…”

“…The inhibition activity of ABTS radicals were analyzed using a modi ed method previously described by Byun et al, (2021) with slight modi cation. The reagent was incubated for 24 hours at 37°C after being mixed with 7.4 mM ABTS and 2.45 mM potassium persulfate solution in a 1:1 (v/v) ratio.…”
