Control of perioperative muscle strength during ambulatory surgery

Abstract: Optimal muscle relaxation for ambulatory surgery results from a judicious combination of regional anesthesia, opioids, and low doses of NMBAs. The effects of NMBAs should be monitored quantitatively by acceleromyography and reversed appropriately.
