Contrast-induced acute kidney injury after computed tomography with contrast media in patients with cardiovascular diseases

Abstract: Aim. To assess the frequency of contrast-induced acute kidney injury (CI-AKI) in patients with cardiovascular diseases (CVD) undergoing computed tomography (CT) with intravenous contrast media.
