Abstract: ABSTRACTCarriers in small colloidal InP nanoparticles are in strong quantum confinement regime. The low temperature photoluminescence spectrum of InP nanoparticles is composed of an excitonic luminescence at high energies and a non-excitonic defect emission band at lower energies.
