Continuing cancer care delivery during the peak of COVID-19 in the Bronx, New York: experience from a public teaching hospital

Abstract: IntroductionWe report our experience with cancer care delivery during the peak of COVID-19 pandemic in New York City.Material and methodsRetrospective analysis of the patients treated from the 1st of March, 2020 to the 8th of May, 2020.ResultsTeam huddles, infection screening and patient selection strategies were implemented. 170 patients were treated in 576 visits.
