Conditions of Hydraulic Heterogeneity under Which Bayesian Estimation is More Reliable

Abstract: Natural heterogeneity of soil hydraulic properties is significant for the design and construction of geotechnical structures, and should be adequately characterized. Accurate measurements of hydraulic properties remain a difficult job and do not always work well for further design and analysis. Field hydraulic monitoring data reflects the overall slope performance and provide a more representative estimation of in-situ soil hydraulic properties for back analysis. The objective of this study is to explore the c… Show more

“…In recent years, countries all over the world pay gradually more attention to education development, and the proportion of investment in total expenditure is also increasing [ 1 ]. Particularly, major colleges have been constantly introducing new technologies and learning from successful teaching models, which has greatly improved their overall teaching quality and management efficiency [ 2 ].…”

“…In the field in question, there has been a lot of research for several years related to hydraulic devices [46], [47], water resources management [48], [49] and environmental hydraulics [50], [51]. Despite all this, significant progress has recently been made in more specialized research fields.…”

“…Lucas-Kanade Algorithm Improvement. Differentiation method [9] and region-based matching method [10] are the most commonly used algorithms for optical flow algorithms, and Lucas-Kanade algorithm is an algorithm based on the local constraints of optical flow. For the small plane S with the center line A, the gray values of the pixels in the regional coordinates of any two images in the image sequence are F(x) and G(x), respectively.…”
