Concurrent ruptured endometrioma with appendiceal endometriosis: a case report

Abstract: Endometriosis is an oestrogen dependent inflammatory disease characterised by presence of endometrial tissue outside the uterine cavity. It affects 15% of female patients in reproductive age. Endometriosis is a very common cause of chronic pelvic pain and subfertility in females.
